Officially incorporated in 1973 the fiftieth anniversary of the Turkish Republic the company pioneered sustainable manufacturing early on by establishing an advanced wastewater treatment facility well before national regulations required it.
From Spinning to Finishing
Over the years, SOKTAS evolved from spinning and weaving grey fabrics into a fully integrated operation encompassing dyeing and finishing.
Today, the brand maintains absolute control over the entire production chain, from raw cotton cultivation to the final finish, offering bespoke tailors meticulous attention to detail, small-batch flexibility, and exclusive fabric development.
Meander 71
A crown jewel of the brand’s agricultural innovation is Meander 71, a proprietary hybrid cotton developed in partnership with the Cotton Research Institute of Türkiye and harvested on the company’s own farms for its exceptionally fine, silky fibers.
