A Heritage of Integrated Textile Manufacturing
Established in 1949 during the consolidation of regional private mills, the company takes its historic name from Miletos, an ancient Mediterranean city celebrated for its fine textiles.
A notable milestone came in 1958 with the establishment of its dedicated handkerchief manufacturing division.
From Cotton Goods to Global Exports
By the 1980s and 1990s, Mileta expanded its focus into broader premium cotton goods, producing fine batistes, high-grade shirting, luxury bed linens, and table linens. Today, approximately 90 percent of the mill’s output is exported worldwide.
