Operating as an undisputed cornerstone of British tailoring since 1836, Holland & Sherry was established when Stephen George Holland and Frederick Sherry began trading luxury woollens and silks from 10 Old Bond Street in London.
A Legacy of British Merchanting
Relocating in 1886 to Golden Square the historic epicentre of the global wool merchanting trade the house quickly established global distribution hubs, notably expanding into New York by the turn of the century.
Celebrating an unbroken merchanting legacy, Holland & Sherry stands as the sole nineteenth-century Golden Square merchant still trading today, maintaining its global distribution headquarters in Peebles in the Scottish Borders alongside its registered flagship address on London’s celebrated Savile Row since 1982.
From London to the World
